Cape water solution was the brainchild of Henk Meyer after the water crisis hit the Western Cape in 2017. He has a roof painting business, as part of the preparation of the roof area, the roof needed to be high pressure cleaned. With water restrictions in place they were not allowed to hose roofs down with municipal water. He had 20 workers who would have lost their jobs. 20 workers that depend on their jobs to feed their families. He bought a small truck with tanks with a capacity of 7500L to deliver bulk water to his sites. The water demand grew, and people started to contact him to transport water for all their water needs.
We supply spring water that is pumped from underneath a wine cellar. The water is legally pumped from the building in order to protect it from flooding.
The water is clean, crystal clear and free of any metals.
Proof of the quality is that we are the sole supplier to the biggest gym group in South Africa, The President hotel as well as Chrystal palace to name a few.
Our bulk water truck’s capacity ranges from 15 000 litres to 16 000 litres.
The newest truck, an Isuzu FVZ 1600 is a purpose-built water truck. We use this truck for very difficult to reach areas as it has 4×6 capability. Just another example of how pro active we are in order to keep our clients water needs
Llandudno, Camps Bay and Fresnaye has never been a problem for delivering water.
Every truck is equipped with a hydraulic pump that is driven from the truck engine. This means that while pumping of water takes place the only noise will be of a truck idling at 1 000 rpm.
As back up we have strong 2-inch petrol Honda water pumps. All our bulk water trucks are equipped with 100-meter pipes in order to reach even the most difficult to fill swimming pool.
